Pop into the Papierówka Gallery!
Colourful workshops in papermaking and marbling will take place in the basement of a former bank building, where 15th-century papermaking equipment has been reconstructed. Participants will learn the traditional process of handmade paper production as well as the art of paper marbling, a technique that involves colouring paper using pigments floated on a viscous solution prepared, among other ingredients, from extracts of seaweed. During the workshop, visitors will also be able to create their own sheets of paper incorporating seeds and meadow plants from the Mazovia region, and to view a historic vault that remains from the building’s former function.
