Activity’s Official Rules
“Activity for the 73rd Birthday of the Old Town”
§1. General Provisions
1. These Official Rules (hereinafter: “Official Rules”) set out the terms and conditions for participating in the stamp-collecting activity called “Activity for the 73rd Birthday of the Old Town” (hereinafter: “Activity”).
2. The Organizer of the Activity is the Museum of Warsaw, based in Warsaw, Old Town Market Square 28, 00-272 Warsaw, entered into the Register of Cultural Institutions kept by the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw under the number: RIK/8/2000/SPW, REGON: 016387044, NIP: 5251290392 (hereinafter: “Organizer”).
3. The Activity is conducted on July 17-18, 2026, within the territory of Warsaw.
4. Registration for the Activity is possible by picking up a stamp card (hereinafter: “Card”) at the information point located near the museum tenement houses of the Museum of Warsaw at the Old Town Market Square.
5. The information point distributes materials and gifts/prizes: July 17, 2026 (Friday) from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and July 18, 2026 (Saturday) from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
6. The Activity is carried out by the Organizer as a public promise within the meaning of Art. 919-921 of the Act of April 23, 1964, Civil Code (i.e., Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1061, as amended).
§2. Participation in the Activity
1. Participants in the Activity can be all natural persons over 18 years of age.
2. Minors may join the Activity with the consent of their legal guardians (hereinafter: “Participant”).
3. Participation in the Activity is free of charge and completely voluntary.
4. By joining the Activity, the Participant should read the Official Rules, commit to observing the rules contained therein, and confirm that they meet all the conditions entitling them to participate in the Activity.
§3. Rules of the Activity
1. The Activity consists of collecting 9 stamps on the Card while Participants visit the participating institutions organizing the 73rd Birthday of the Old Town (hereinafter: “Participating Institutions”). The Activity is valid exclusively on July 17-18, 2026. Stamps collected on the Card can then be used in the manner described in paragraph 2 below. Stamps are issued at the following Participating Institutions:
- Public Library in the Śródmieście District of the Capital City of Warsaw (Adult and Youth Lending Library No. 43, Scientific Reading Room No. VII, and Children and Youth Library No. 24, Świętojańska 5 St.)
- Monument Interpretation Center, Brzozowa 11/13 St.
- History Meeting House (DSH), Karowa 20 St.
- House of Folk Art, Old Town Market Square 10

2. After collecting 9 stamps on the Card, the Participant may claim a gift/prize at the information point of the Museum of Warsaw.
3. Stamps placed on separate Cards do not add up.
4. The gift/prize in the Activity consists of Kabak brand socks featuring the branding of the 73rd Birthday of the Old Town. The Organizer allocates 300 pairs of socks for prizes. The socks (size selected by the Participant based on availability) will be given to the first 300 participants who present a Card with 9 collected stamps. One person can receive one gift/prize.
5. Gifts/prizes are distributed at the main building of the Museum of Warsaw at the Old Town Market Square 32 in Warsaw, at the information point, on July 17, 2026 (Friday) from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and July 18, 2026 (Saturday) from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
6. A Participant may waive the right to the gift/prize, but is not entitled to any cash or material equivalent in exchange.
7. A Participant who presents a Card with collected stamps at the information point has the right to:
- Hand over the Card to the staff at the point and receive the gift/prize.
- Keep the Card as a souvenir, provided that the Card is permanently marked by the staff (e.g., by hole-punching) to prevent it from being used again in the Activity.
§4. Final Provisions
1. The content of the Official Rules is available at the Organizer’s headquarters and on the website: www.urodzinystarowki.pl.
2. In matters not regulated by the Official Rules, the provisions of Polish law shall apply.
3. Any disputes regarding the Activity will be resolved by the common court with territorial jurisdiction over the Organizer’s registered office.
4. The Organizer reserves the right to amend the Official Rules for important reasons, in particular in the event of changes in the law or significant organizational changes to the Activity, provided that this does not infringe upon the acquired rights of the Participants. Amendments to the Official Rules will be announced on the Activity’s website.
