Aleksander Minorski. Photography as Intervention

A curator-guided tour with Karolina Puchała-Rojek of the exhibition Aleksander Minorski. Photography as Intervention. The exhibition presents the figure of Aleksander Minorski (1906–1982)—a photographer, filmmaker, and writer for whom photography was a tool for social engagement. The works on display document the everyday life of working-class Warsaw before the war, as well as the city’s transformation in the 1960s and 1970s. The curator will introduce the context of Minorski’s work and discuss the process of creating the exhibition.
