Szeptonika—a band that is hard to describe but an absolute must to hear. They classify their music as folk fusion, which emphasizes the multitude of genres and musical traditions intertwining in their work. One thing is certain—they are deeply rooted in tradition and the music of times past, which does not mean: ancient. Their repertoire includes songs of American pioneers, emotionally charged Cuban melodies, or sounds flowing straight from forgotten Tsarist dungeons. At their concerts, there is no shortage of songs that everyone knows and loves. In particular, this applies to the music of old Warsaw and Lviv, while notes of Jewish or Romani music also resonate.
