We discover the world with Maria Skłodowska-Curie. Happy Picnic, part of the ‘Ray of Science’ project
A joyful family picnic in the garden with colourful science demonstrations, a tournament of the educational game PoRadzisz Sobie, inspired by the life and discoveries of Nobel Prize laureate Maria Skłodowska-Curie, as well as artistic activities and outdoor physical games. In the museum’s experiment zone, participants will perform simple and safe physics and chemistry experiments—they will observe unusual reactions, learn the laws governing the natural world, and see that science can be fascinating and beautiful. Children will create colourful atoms inspired by the Nobel Prize winner’s discoveries. At the stations prepared by the Foundation, children and their families will be able to discover the basics of mathematics using Montessori teaching aids. It will also be possible to independently prepare handmade paper with plants embedded in the pulp.
