Pop into the Papierówka Gallery!
Colourful workshops in papermaking and marbling will take place in the basement of a former bank building, where 15th-century papermaking equipment has been reconstructed. Participants will learn the traditional process of handmade paper production as well as the technique of paper marbling, involving colouring paper using pigments floated on a thick solution, prepared, among other things, on the basis of marine algae extracts. During the classes, it will also be possible to create your own sheets of paper with the addition of seeds and herbaceous plants from Mazovian meadows, and to see a historic safe that remains from the building’s former function.
