The Story of Zygmunt Lubicz Zaleski

A documentary directed by Rafael Lewandowski, produced in Poland in 2017, runs 90 minutes and tells the multilayered and remarkable story of Zygmunt Lubicz Zaleski – a philosopher, writer, and poet who spent most of his life in France. Like many other pro-independence activists forced into political exile, he lived and worked “far from the orchestra.” Despite being far from his homeland, he played a significant role in shaping a strong and independent Poland through culture.
