Adam Mickiewicz Museum of Literature
The Adam Mickiewicz Museum of Literature collects writers’ archives, manuscripts, books, audio and film recordings, daguerreotypes, and photographs from the 19th and 20th centuries. It also houses artworks primarily from the Romanticism, Positivism, Young Poland, and interwar periods, including items related to A. Mickiewicz, J. Słowacki, H. Sienkiewicz, and J. Tuwim. The Museum holds collections of early works by W. Weiss, drawings by B. Schulz, and the archive of August Zamoyski. Its branches include the Museums of M. Dąbrowska, A. Strug, and W. Broniewski.
