Archdiocese Museum in Warsaw

Archdiocese Museum [MAW] was opened in 1938 on Kanonia Street. After the war, MAW was reactivated only in 1979. For 25 years, the Museum operated on Solec Street. In 2015, it transferred its collections to the renovated Dean’s Palace on Dziekania Street in the Old Town. The Archdiocese Museum presents old, modern, and contemporary art, sacred and secular works, paintings and sculptures, a collection of clocks, furniture, fabrics, and liturgical vestments.
