Slovak Institute

The Slovak Institute was established in October 1993, and since 1995 it has been housed near the Old Town Market Square, in a tenement house at 12/14a Krzywe Koło Street. The Institute is involved in promoting Slovak culture in all its fields. It presents, among other things, the works of Slovak visual artists, native Slovak literature and its translations into Polish, music, drama, film art, and the activities of Slovak cultural institutions. It also organizes annual Slovak language courses.
