We’re Building a New Home

The film series We’re Building a New Home: Thursday Meetings with the Reconstruction of Warsaw (dir. Maciej Jaźwiecki / 2024 / Poland / 72 min) features stories told by Jerzy S. Majewski and Tomasz Markiewicz about the postwar reconstruction of the Polish capital. The material explores the process of rebuilding the city and its significance for contemporary Warsaw. The films were produced as part of the programme commemorating the 80th anniversary of the reconstruction of Warsaw, organized by the City of Warsaw in 2025.
