At the exhibition Warsaw Uprising 1944. Yearning for Freedom, members of the Association share their memories of 63 days of fighting and their post-war fate. The entire exhibition is set in a unique building that has been a meeting place and memorial for Warsaw Insurgents for over 30 years.

Nearly 130 photographs and over 70 years of artistic work fill Poland’s first comprehensive retrospective of the legendary Magnum Photos photographer, Elliott Erwitt.

Event participants will listen to unique testimonies from historical witnesses who, just before the upcoming anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, will share their experiences from the first hours of the armed struggle.
