Association of Private Entrepreneurs of the Warsaw Royal Route
The Association (SPPWTK) has existed since September 1989.
In 2011, the authorities of the City of Warsaw awarded us the "Meritorious for Warsaw" distinction. We unite companies operating primarily in the Old and New Town areas, but also in other districts. Our members run cafes, bars, restaurants, grocery and souvenir shops, jewelry workshops, and art galleries, alongside offering services in the field of traditional crafts, hospitality, and business advisory. We actively participate in all initiatives that popularize our Old Town. In winter, we organize an ice rink on the Old Town Market Square; in summer, we plan dance parties in the New Town, thematic fairs, urban games, and many other events. We maintain an active partnership with a local children's home and take part in charitable and relief drives (e.g. helping flood victims). We are soon relaunching our magazine, Na Starym i Nowym Mieście. Every 3 years, in accordance with our statute, we elect the governing bodies of the Association, and every year we present our activity reports at General Assemblies. The Board meets once a month (always on the first Thursday of the month) in sessions open to all members. We make non-stop efforts to increase the attractiveness of the Old and New Town, so that our guests feel comfortable here and return again.
