House of Folk Art

House of Folk Art is a unique gallery of folk art and crafts, since 1953 located at 10 Old Town Market Square in Warsaw. Managed by a family of ethnographers, the House is known for maintaining the highest standards. Its interiors feature original Zalipie-style wall paintings, furniture from the 1950s (now listed in the register of movable monuments), handcrafted wrought iron elements and, most importantly, hundreds of folk creations from artists all across Poland.

Painted Horses

Participants will paint traditional wooden horses and immerse themselves in folk culture in a unique shop featuring an original 1950s interior, a true phenomenon of the Old Town.
