Maria Skłodowska-Curie Museum

Maria Skłodowska-Curie Museum in Warsaw was established in 1967 at the birthplace of the two-time Nobel Prize laureate. It is located at 16 Freta Street in an 18th-century townhouse where Maria Curie-Skłodowska’s mother ran a boarding house for girls. The permanent exhibition consists of a comprehensive collection of original notes and letters by Maria Skłodowska-Curie, as well as photographs, documents, furniture, and personal belongings of the outstanding scientist and her family. Part of the exhibition commemorates the Nobel laureate on stamps, medals, and banknotes.
