Office of the Municipal Conservation Officer at the City Hall

Since its establishment in 2001, the Office of the Municipal Conservation Officer has continuously cared for the historic landmarks of Warsaw. For over a decade, it has provided grants for the restoration of historic buildings and supervised work carried out in the city-owned historic tenements. The Office is dedicated to educating the public on the preservation of Warsaw’s cultural heritage and prepares educational materials on this topic for teachers. It also manages and verifies the municipal register of monuments. Additionally, the Office is involved in creating cultural parks and determining the locations for new monuments in the capital city.
